No matter what you're doing, whether you enjoy it or not - you should work hard. It pays of in the end and it can make many things easier. I'm guilty of being someone who procrastinates, someone who doesn't try when she doesn't want to, but we should try. When we work hard, we get rewarded.
There isn't anything bad that happens when we work hard, someone might pick us out on it. So what? What's so wrong with giving something your all? Even if you don't get the best results you can say that you tried your best, however if you fail without trying you'll live with regret.
I worked hard when I had my part-time job, so hard that they reserved me a job for the summer. I now have a summer job (which I'll most likely continue when the summer ends) and I only stopped because of schoolwork - and an unhealthy addiction to anime and YouTube. Those two things are the reason why I'm so behind in things that I do, they always distract me. So I have to try and put them to the side so I can get on with my life.
Either way, work hard! And keep smiling!

People
People tend to depress me, it makes me sad how cruel they can be. How judgmental they can be. I know I can't do anything about how they act other than hope that they will change with time.
I'm sorry if anything I say comes out wrong, but I feel like I need to say this.
I have a best friend, we hug. That shouldn't be a big deal, but people have made it big deal. I don't understand why they have to place themselves in someone else's life.
For a while people having been making snide comments about it being 'Lesbian' or 'Creepy'. However it exploded into a massive thing, and multiple got involved. It involved almost half the girls in our year (it's a small-ish school). It was divided in two, it showed me what people were really like.

Those making the comments tended to have many 'friends' if you can call them that, but not many best friends or close friends. I'm being judgmental here, and I guess that's my problem but none of them seemed smart or sensible. I'm sure they can be if in the right situation but they're stuck with the wrong people who are in a similar situation as them.
The others had clear best friends, they even made comments that they hug and they are close. Why pick out us? Why not pick out anyone else?
It might be because we are always smiling, I don't know. I'm not good with handling people who are upset either. In a way, I'm glad they picked on us. Our friendship is strong, what they've said hasn't changed our friendship at all. If someone else was in this situation, their friendship may have been affected.
No matter what, pick yourself up. And keep smiling!

Making Plans
You don't always need plans in life, but it's best to have some. Along with some sort of structure. It is good enough to make plans last minute, but you should refrain from backing out of plans last minute - especially if it could cancel the whole day.
What I'm trying to say is, that when you make plans the majority of people stick to them. If you are friends with someone who usually backs out of these things, you should probably have a back up option. However if it is a usually reliable friend and they back out the day before, it usually leaves the other one lost and wondering what to do for a whole day. If this friend keeps backing out of plans, they become the 'unreliable friend' I mentioned earlier and you usually end up more distant.
So make plans, stick to them and don't double book yourself.

Cinema and Shopping
Today, I went out with my friends the cinema and to go shopping. It was the first time I had seen an 'Avengers' - it was th second movie too, so I knew nothing. I had also never seen anything like it as that type of movie never seemed to interest me. It was an okay movie, but it was long and I ate my sweets within the twenty minutes of adverts waiting for the movie to start.
Shopping wise, I had a clear shopping list in my mind. Of course the only thing on the list I managed to get, which I planned to get was books. I got seven. Other than that I also got a candle (Black Cherry and it smells amazing), water, a subway and a milkshake.
If you ever get the chance try an After Eight and Terry's Chocolate Orange milkshake, it may seem weird but it tastes amazing.
Keep smiling (:

Introduction
Hello, I am Elvak. I'm a girl and I don't reallhave an extravagant life. I'm a student, I spend the majority of my days on my iPad and I love anime. Not only that, but I have an addiction with buying books.
If you wish, follow my life. I hope to share the most fun things that I do.
